I’ve had my 26 1500 BH for 3 months. 1 month in the shop for trans/engine issues. They want to do a full disassembly.

First the trans was downshifting super hard, took it in, reset trans. Problem continued, brought it in again and they couldn’t do anything else apparently. So the trans is still messed up and then the truck goes into limp mode throwing codes for every cylinder/spark plug/throttle body and coil. Took it in again and they cannot identify, they want to do a full disassembly of the engine and trans. I opened a case with Ram and who knows what they will say. Feel like I’m getting screwed. Any advice on how to move forward?? On another note, bought that so the wife and kids will have a reliable vehicle while I’m overseas and I leave in two days… a loaner or rental hasn’t been offered.

Ask the dealer to buy it back and buy a new one ?
I would go right to the owner and explain the situation ...and say please.

correction: the truck has spent a month not being driven waiting for appointments. The shop has had it for 5-6 days and counting.

The dealer says all those decisions comes from Ram Corporate, which I have an active case with. Would y’all feel like you have a “new truck” after a full power train rebuild at 3k miles?
