Been lurking for a while and learning a boatload. Picked my first truck today... a 2018 hydro blue sport. Can't do an SUV and figured it was time to grow up from cars. Originally signed the paperwork for a 2018 ecodiesel and changed my order 3 days later when the news about 215 failed engines a month came to light.
Started with an olds cutlass, z24, rx8, wrangler JK, 335d and a few others sprinkled in there.
I wouldn't consider myself an accomplished mechanic but always enjoy turning a wrench with basic maintenance and mods... with a few swear words and scraped knuckles as part of the job.
Looking forward to keeping a while. Plan is to keep it mostly stock for now.
