Hey yall . i have wanted to lift my 2WD truck i want the look of a stock 4x4 .. i have been looking around on this forum and others and i have found i picture of what i want , " pic attached " the guy that owns that truck has a 2.5 level kit in the front of the truck and a 1 in the back of the truck ...

That being said will ..

3/4 ton 2wd or 4wd front coils work better for my look ? im aware of stiffer ride .

i found a 3" lift block for the rear at oriellys i kinda want a rake in the rear due to the fact that i haul a travel trailer around alot and i always use my truck for hunting " hogs " so that would be why ..

Basically i need some ideas and what nots i am doing this in the next few weeks since i was involved in a wreck and figured it be best for me to go ahead and do everything at one time ...

Cab lights :peace:
Tow mirrors :peace:
big rig lights :peace:
head lights retroed by " Demon~Hemi "
Heavy Duty front Bumper W/ Hooks :ryu-cvs-hadoken-a:
2 front fenders
1 hood
and a few other parts as you can tell this is going to be a rather large project .

any ideas and helpful tips are WELCOME

Thanks in advance

I'm fairly certain I can count on one hand the number of active lifted 2wd owners on the 2nd gen forum and have fingers left over.

That being said, i know that adding 1 ton springs to a 4x4 isn't a good idea due to preload tension and ride control, so I'd have to believe you'd get the same results from a 2wd.

There's no cheap way to lift any type of truck and do it safely. If the mods allow, I'd suggest checking out Fabtech or one of our vendors who sell the brand. They still make complete suspensions for 2wd 2nd gens and they are well built.
