Help! Lost tabs on spark plug wires

Changing spark plugs I can’t get the locking tabs on the connector to the coil on the drivers side to lock. Plus I dropped one and can’t find it. I took the clips out of the wire. Realize now I shouldn’t have done that. Any way to lock the wire in without the clip?

Well I ended up putting a little form a gasket on the wires. Hope it holds them.

Creative use of small zipties will usually hold the clips together.You need the little tiny black zipties
