I have a 2011 ram 1500. Bilsteins set to 2.8. I am set on the trail grapplers but cant decide which size. Want to get a little extra height too. On stock chrome clads.
275/65r20 34.33 high only 10.98 wide. Direct bolt on. May be to narrow

295/60r20 same height as above but 12.13 wide. Need spacer

295/65r20 35.47 height and 12.13 wide. Need spacer. May look stuffed.

Currently leaning towards 295/65s.

Please help with opinions.

Personally, I'd go with the 295/60-20 Trail Grapplers.

I'm getting a 6 inch rcx in a couple weeks and I decided on the 295/65R20s.

So I would give that size a go if I were you.

If i went with the 60s why not just go with the 275/65s which are same height and not as wide. Then i could use a 1/4 spacer to push them out if i wanted

Not really, you do notice that it takes a little bit more off the line. Other then that it's not too bad. I have diablo sport w/ perf 91 tune installed on it. With the tune on it it's like a stock Hemi with the 33's on it as far as performance. Mpg's though I'm at 11 in the city according to the evic.

Is the trail grappler a harder or softer tread?

Bringing this back around because i still cant decide. I dont know if i want to go with the 65s because they may looked stuffed or may not. Also what about the gearing. I have the 3.21 i beleive or something like that and dont want to loose power. Need more opinions.

Power will be lost, if you can re-gear do it. I just re-geared to 4.56 and love it. I now get 13mpg's in the city now and my power is back and then some! I would go for the 65's if you plan to lift to a 4"-6" lift later on.

What gears did u have before. Thinking about a tuner. Will that help. Probably not going to do more lift. Got bilsteins to 2.8 and going to install 1.5 spacers in rear.

I had 3.55, if you're at 2.8 and a rear spacer I would go with the 65's. The tuner will help bring a little power back and correct the speedo for you too.
