My transmission oil cooler and lines need to be replaced for my 2001 Dodge 1500 5.9 V8 Auto 2WD truck. My mechanic quoted me a pretty hefty price using OEM parts. After talking with him, he said he would install any parts I gave him but without a warranty. I've tried Googling the parts I need but there seem to be dizzying combination of results. I'm not experienced enough to put together a shopping list and was wondering if some of you more experienced folks could help? From what he said there are three lines and I need a direct fit, non-universal oil cooler. The price he quoted for the OEM oil cooler part alone was $750 and everything I've found online is about 10%-20% of that. Thank you in advance.
