Idk but I do know a cortex will read and clear the codes on a jgc. I use mine on the wife's jeep whenever there is a code.

Take it to Autozone...our local one will read and clear a CEL for free. They even reset the dang oil change sensor things on the GM vehicles.

You do realize all you have to do with those is turn the key to on and floor the throttle 3 times? If not that it's through the radio.

Nope, didnt know that...it's on my inlaws Uplander...as of yesterday my immediate family is GM vehicle less...LOL...But on the Autozone thing, our Windstar popped up a CEL and we took it to Autozone...I wrote down the codes and went home and searched them on the internet myself. The tech at Autozone told me to change the MAF sensor to correct the code...(it was reading lean in bank 2)...after researching for myself the CEL was triggered NOT cause of the MAF, but from the horrid 3.8 intake gasket.

So all in all, I totally let them scan my cars for free, but take the techs advise with a grain of salt and do your own research, before throwing parts at it.
