Need help 2007 Ram 1500

I bought a used 2007 Ram 5.7 hemi 4x4. First clue the key fob would stop working then would work again. My wife was driving and the engine shutdown with no warning signs. The engine would not crank over.Good battery in fob and truck. I think it is the wireless control module.The dash worked, radio, power windows,headlights all worked.I removed the negative battery cable for 30sec and replaced still no crank over. Would a scanner tell the problem? I have Electronic Throttle Control light on and check engine light.

#28 fuse was blown.

#28 fuse blew because when I wired up the trailer brake controller, the connection came loose and shorted out, blowing the fuse. Truck is ok now.
