Ok. So I bought that vht niteshade stuff and tinted my tails. Came out pretty good. Also bought some replacement led lights to replace the stock bulbs to compensate for the darker lenses. However now when I hit my blinker it's like I put the flashers on. Do I need to wire in a capacitor or something? If so, where and how? If not, what did I do wrong lol

Yes, you need a resistor in the circuit.

Your turn signal circuit should have three wires. If you wire in a resistor, do so across the two outside wires. I get my LED bulbs and resistors at autolumination.com and their site has good info on the resistor value to use.

Ok so tie in a resistor to the two outside wires? I'll check out the website. Thanks man.

I see that I would need a 50watt or better. What about ohm? Would a 3 be ok, or should I go with a 6 ohm?

It depends on how many individual LED's on the bulb and the bulbs total voltage use.

Here's how to determine ohm values for your resistor:

I normally use 6 ohm resistors on signal LED's.

It's those little super bright bulbs you find at autozone and Walmart.
