I just wanted this posted out there in case anyone else had the same issue and can DIY for well less than dealer. 2021 Ram Rebel 1500 3.0 Diesel. My right taillight running light stopped working. Blinker/Reverse/Brake all worked, but my running light which is on at night didn't. Took apart and sure enough 1 of the holes/pegs in the connectors was fried(black). I didn't notice at the time but I had a crack in the housing that I guess allowed some water in and zapped it. Fair enough. So I took to dealer. $250 diagnostic, $2100 to replace! Yes $2100! I'm not mechanic but as simple as it was to take apart myself I was determined to do it. So I paid the $250 diagnostic and got the wiring harness from them(ordered MOPAR online saved $20) for $77. The harness even comes with the plastic pegs to put into the holes to keep wire tight. Part:68489300AA. I then bought an OEM taillight assembly on ebay for $220. Part: 55112992AD. It took me a few minutes to get the old wire harness detached under the bumper, but all in all I got it done and it's working perfectly now! I'm not sure how in the world the dealer got to their number but dam. I think their housing alone they wanted $900. Anyway, hope this helps! Thomas
