Hemi in a 97' Dakota possible?

I didn't know what section to put this in.

My dads got a 97' daktota with the magnum in it, hes been thinking of doing an overhaul on it. Will a 5.7 hemi fit in this truck?

anything is possible.
i know they hold the 5.9 which is a 360.
the 5.7 are 345. obvious fab work, but might be possible.

If you got time, go for it!

Though just got a picture of a Dakota with a big engine sticking out and the frame getting left behind from all the power. Lol!

It can be done. There's a website dedicated to Dakota's and Durango's that has a "how to" for the install.

You'll need a custom oil pan and engine mounts. Everything else is wiring / computer related.
