Brand new transmission

Truck stalls out, starts back up, but gets worse and eventually won't start back up. I thought it was the crank sensor so I replaced it, there was an auxiliary ground added to coil 2 prong wire that feeds the coil (this actually fixed the issue for a little while but it's doing the same thing now). Seems like it's not getting any spark when it dies. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm a mechanic myself so I'm beyond frustrated with this truck.

12-15k ohms between tower and either pin on the coil and 1ohm roughly between the 2 pins.

If it doesn't fall in these specs the coil is bad

OR if the ****** is getting hot, it'll cause a no-spark scenario. lol

i had the coil on my 93 do the same thing. when i would first try starting it it would have spark but the more i would crank the weaker the spark would get till i had none. sometime revving it would help keep it going but eventually it died and didn't want to start again. if you got any spare coils sitting around you could try hooking one up and see if you can get it running. i used an old mopar coil and spark plug wire to get mine running and verify that the coil was indeed the issue. i ended used the same setup to run around on until the coil i wanted arrived
