Hidden winch mount

I ran across this last night while browsing eBay. I have no connection to the seller, but thought I post it up as an option for someone wanting to add a winch. There is 2 versions, one with tow hooks and one with out.

Well dang, I guess I haven’t looked in awhile, that’s a nice setup as well.

Need to put on my big boy pants, order one of these mounts and cut an opening in my bumper!

I had a offroad fab shop build a mount for me, I did the finishing metal work and had it Linex’d. Pic with stock bumper setup and current aftermarket bumper.

I would love a hidden winch mount too, I've been looking at my options. I saw the one on eBay awhile back but it won't work for me. First of all, the price seems a little steep, then add shipping on top of it. But I guess when you make something that isn't readily available you can charge accordingly.

Secondly, it says its just for a synthetic rope winch. I'm not going to use synthetic rope on my winch. Don't get me wrong, I understand the benefits of synthetic but it doesn't suit my winch needs. Synthetic requires too much maintenance for me since I'll only ever use it maybe once or twice a year. I'll end up doing traditional cable and a steel hawse.

In the listing, he says he has a Sport bumper model coming also. I will definitely be waiting for that one.

Yes I did use the same winch mount. It was a gamble when I bought the new bumper wether it would line up like it was set up for the factory bumper. Gamble paid off, lined up perfectly.
