35s are on.

Drove the ram today, my god this thing is so comfortable compared to the **** box. Surely am leaving the ram as is, aside from normal maintenance. It's too good on the road to ruin.

Viva El STUFFED.

Tomorrow the ram will be getting detailed and driven. I'll be towing this pile out to the offroad park in a couple weeks so while I'm rebuilding the front axle the ram will see some love. Gonna be in the 50s so I need to wax and seal this thing as well as get some Krown on the underside. 42698.jpg42696.jpg42697.jpg

Putting that thing to work, flexing it out. AWESOME!
Keeping the Ram nice too is best part.

I'm stuck with this ecodiesel too. Another open recall with no reported fix means dealers won't touch this thing on trade .....bleh

I won't hold my breath. Lol it's ok, my truck runs perfect, but it still killed any potential resale.

Detailed it the best I could. Need to get a lily brush to pull my pit/lab mixs hair out of the carpet, it's woven in there good! Took the time and siliconed the weather stripping to the flares so hopefully it doesn't move much. From the flares and body line down is pretty hammered paint wise from commuting so in the spring I'll be bedlinering all of those higher impact areas. Gonna spray bomb the frame next week and get some Krown coating and be ready for the impending salt doom of winter. 20191121_141612.jpg20191121_141539.jpg20191121_163135.jpg

So a few clif notes. With these 28" extended fox shocks I can unseat the passenger coil enough that I need to get a small spacer. Id say prob about a 1/2" too long in the shocks. I could potentially lose the coil at full droop. I did bottom out the other day and judging be the mark on the shock shaft I should be ok. About 1/2" left in the shock stroke. I don't intend on bottoming these on the regular so I'll be fine. I plan on adding the daystar 1" spacer asap anyway so this is a non issue long term, but worth noting

As for these SLF140 coils. All I can say is holy ****. They sagged so much i can't believe it. The passenger and drivers side are both permanently bowed and maybe ended up about 1/2" longer than my bilstein coils when I pulled them out. They were about 3.5-4 longer when brand new.

Needless to say I'll be returning these to superlift. 20191125_101506.jpg20191125_101513.jpg20191125_102518.jpg20190627_164420.jpg

Gross. FWIW my eibach protruck coils in the **** end of my unit, with the icon 2.0 shocks has been beautyyy. If anything the ass sits a bit to high for my liking as i run a nearly empty/light load in the box 99% of the time. I bought them after reading that they are supposed to be 1" lift with a tendancy to be more like 1.5" and they are pretty well and truely a 1.5" lift. Feel great, whether that is more the coils fault or the icons - i do not know.

You know, you haven't pic ****** in a while.....just saying!

I do remember seeing them sit pretty good. I almost bought them and ended up changing to bilsteins the last second. Im sure id be happy if they sat like you're saying. Leave it to me to try dumb **** that i end up changing out later. I have nothing bad to say about these bilstein coils at all, just a tad short. At this point I'll get my refund for the superlift junk, toss a spacer on and leave the **** alone! I was fully content with these before they sagged 2 inches. I tried to get a picture before I pulled them, they made the craziest "S" bend I've ever seen a coil make and not fail. I just want enough rake to use my truck like a truck here and there. #shouldhavegoteibachs. Tho after the ******** when I first ordered their full kit, I didn't wanna give them my money.

Gonna sell the jeep, get a side by side or some quads for me and the gf and I have a 2008 colorado with a 4cyl I hate that I'll solid axle and make into a trail only rig. Once I'm back to work I don't foresee me driving the jeep too much, so it's worth more sold than sitting.

I havent done anything to it! Haha. I went to europe for a month and a half and came back to winter time. The factory 20s with 1.5" spacers and OEM sized duratracs are my winter **** anyways, so now we wait for spring to do wheels & tires. Other than that my "build" is pretty well done i think. Ive had some whacky ideas about adding front tow hooks or maybe some more lights, if i ever do any of that you'll know. Pics of summer wheels and big boots will go up in a couple months lol

I'm right there with ya. I literally put my flares on, am doin these spacers on the rear coils and it's done. I do want bumpers, but don't need them yet, might do like 22hemi did and just chop my stock one up for now. Its ugly anyway. I actually do need fog lights, so that will be soon.

I would like the edge insight cts2 monitor for my diesel nannies, and it can be utilized as a switch board for accessories so once I get back to logging some hours at work I'll be adding some little things like that and a tazer.

I'm still torn on wheels. I might just keep these 20s and do 35s or 37s. Idk. I'm a lunatic and change my mind every day.

Got my spacers installed in the rear. I'll get pics tomorrow as I spent most of my day adjusting my pinion preload in the jeep so I was on a time crunch.

Drove it around to settle everything. Rear came up to a tick under 41" and front is sitting like 39 1/2"-39 3/4" I'll double check that tomorrow as I csnt remember now. Moar better than the way it was sitting

Not much of a change to look at, but there's a nice amount of rake. Hard to tell how much better it sits until I parked next to a stock ram this morning. 20191127_091419.jpg

Ordered these, same as @ram1500rsm. I have an existing hole in my dash from the previous owner I can utilize for the switch, so these will fit the bill as filler lights for the interim.

The aux switch board and a better set of lights will come in the future, but with winter here i need some DOT fogs for driving duties and this should be a quick solution.

I don't know if you have the option on the headlight switch to use fog lights?, i think if you did you can
get the factory harness, Mopar 68197065AA
and this connectors to wire those fogs to the factory harness for a plug and play experience at least on the electrical side https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Wiri...rds=AA1220&qid=1574979187&s=automotive&sr=1-1
