Holy Hell this had to hurt

Ran across this scanning the adds for parts

It's some serious damage but looks like it was survivable. Fire department def cut the door off to extricate the occupant but I see pie cuts at the rocker or a pillar so no trapped feet... Looks like it did its job to protect the occupant

Yes, there is lower cab intrusion but the lack of extrication cuts in key places tells me there was no limbs trapped in that intrusion. Trust me I have seen my fair share of head on's that require extensive extrication and spreading of the dash to free the driver. This does not show signs of that so that is why I said it did its job in this wreck.

Ram trucks have VERY BAD small overlap crash results

In my experience a wreck you " walk" away from is a good result. Im not a big believer on the statistical ratings i see produce. I tend to go off of real world experience. And u have pretty much seen just about every type of vehicle in all types of wrecks.... one wreck i saw is what lead to my decision of a 4 door wrangler. I kinda take the rating studd with a grain of salt and take the "walk aways" as more a realistic rating

Ram 1500 did very poor in certain crash tests. Apparently there is a lot of lower cab intrusion and often a driver legs could be either pinned, cut, broken, crushed, etc.

My buddy sent me an article showing all the 1500 class trucks and was **** talking about the ram (he is a Toyota fan boy).
