No real need ... In the grill, thru the radiator, around the motor, off the firewall, and down thru the bottom seems to work pretty well ... How much heat you got ?

For heat extraction, dont see need, but would look cool. I towed my trailer(not heavy, but around 4,000 pounds) over pass in Oregon 2 years in row, 115 degrees out and was doing around 70 over pass(like straight hour at really steep incline) , didn't get too hot. But I have the tow package with cooler etc.

Unless you have a method of plugging for rain/car wash, not worth the hassle. Had a rice burner with a carbon fiber vented hood back in the day, many times I limped home with misfires because water got down the spark plug canals.
