Totally understand, sure would be cool to see the magical 500,000 mile mark!

This most likely is my final post on this truck.
Current mileage 420000. I am retiring the truck to personal use. Which means at most 3000 miles a year. The truck still runs and drives like new.

Thanks for the updates on your truck! Are you switching to a different truck for hauling loads?

I'm about to be at 172,000 on a 15. I use Amzoil and it runs better today than when I got it at 105,000 miles on it. No issues with the engine whatsoever.

Do you use 0w40? I’ve been using the recommended Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0w40 since new. I’ve had lifters replaced twice now and only have 58k on my 2016 2500 6.4 Hemi. I have a couple thousand miles on this 3rd set of lifters and it is already clanging on cold startups for about 30 seconds to a minute every morning. Through lots of forum chats, I think my next oil change will be a 5w30, possibly redline. I’m also limiting my idle times a lot more than I used to.

Almost all towing my 14k fifth wheel all over California, Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Colorado Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee etc etc
Seen some very serious grades and heat and freezing cold
changed gears to 456 when it was new
no problems at all
runs very strong
just keep the fluids fresh
hope this helps

had a 2008 1500 crew cab with 5.7 used as a daily driver =no heavy use
put 208,000 on it no issues
sold it to a friend who has put another 35,000 on it with no issues

my current driver is a 2018 5.7 single cab 45,000 on it no issues

In about a week will be 5 yrs and 86000 miles on my '16 2500 6.4. Tow everything from a 14000 lb generator a few times to a couple thousand miles a year on my 8500 lb camper. Still quiet, changing oil/filter about every 7000 miles. Penzoil or Mobil one 0/40.
Changed other fluids to Redline about 25000. Will do them again this year.
Been trouble free except for the dang Ebrake release, plastic handle breaking..

2016 2500 5.7 (I know it’s not a 6.4) 105K miles on it and absolutely 0 issues. Love this truck. Will do the exhaust manifold bolt replacement and also the spark plugs soon but that is about it. 5-6K oil change intervals with Lubegard Biotech.
