did that 2 my 2nd gen man what a ***** stuck on there all those years got the tape off but left all the sticky stuff behind cant get it off

Only good thing about the tape is that's where I put my hand to shut the door to avoid finger prints after I wax it... Looks better without in my opinion though. I never realized it was tape. Thought it was a piece of plastic or something...

I was wondering how easy it would be to get this off. Mine is starting to crack a little where it folds under next to the window. May give it a try while it is 100 F this week

So what kind of vinyl and adhesive would you guys use if you wanted to replace the stock film? Wanting to get a gloss look on the pillars

Can't fully commit to doing this, I like how it flows with the tinted windows and knowing I can't scratch the paint when I close the door. My wife on the other hand would probably scratch the living crap out of it, she's very careless. But I do like the way it looks without it. Decisions decisions, even worse part is its free!!
