How to reset the "average" mpg meter

Hello all, forgive me if this is a repeat but I did do a search and cant find it.

how do you reset the "average" mpg meter. Or does it reset itself when you fill up or something. Its a '14 1500 outdoorsman. We just got it so the milage is low from the test drive and stuff, it started out around 14 got it up to 17 now but on all my cars there is a button to push to restart the number.

Not sure if it's the same as my 12 but I just press the right arrow button when the mpg is selected and it clears it

Well I finally figured it out. You have to have the center gauge area set to MPG and than you can right click to reset (I have the MPG set to the lower right gauge and was trying to reset it from there). I like to keep the MPH on the center so that's why it wasn't working.
