Well been kinda slow at it this last while been busy with other stuff. Like this 1.9 bomber and rc tractor. But finally got my lower portion of the rear bumper bent up hopefully start marking and notching it this week. And finish up receiver hitch. Thanks for looking


I also found some rather nasty rock chips so I patched those up temporarily to stop from rust. This aerosol boxliner I sprayed on scrapes of withba paint scraper so that goes to show how good of quality it is haha

Gotta get out to the farm one night and notch 2 peices of pipe for either side of the licence plate but the is really coming together nicely I think

So close I can feel it! This will probably be the last of the progress updates for a while see if I can get the funds to purchase raptor liner and the time to apply will definitely be before spring but really hoping for around Christmas time!

Got the front bumper finished up for now all welded and sanded down acid etch primer and a thick coat of black paint. Raptorliner will be here after Christmas. Will get the rear bumper finished up this week and the roll pan 100% attached. Ordered 8 litres of raptor for now will do the bumpers and fender flares maybe a few other removeable parts to start. Then see how much I need to order to do the rest of the truck.

All welded up rear bumper. Nuts welding into frame for mounting purposes. Now just pick up primer tomorrow and and she’ll be ready for raptor!

Well guys the day is near! The rest of the raptor I need will be here Wednesday/Thursday and news eve/day she’s getting coated! Lots of work today had good buddy who is an auto body tech help me out do some body work and get me some supplies was a fun day few more things to do yet. Stay tuned!

Love the front. Not a fan of the rear. I think it's just the OD of the tubing used that isn't doing it for me. But I do like the design of it. Good job ma man

Thanks! Just outa curiosity what size would you have used for rear? The front is mostly 2” blackpipe so about 2.3 outside rear is just 2” exhaust tubing

When I think of rear bumper tubing, I always think of the 3in parallel tubes a buddy had on an old 4runner. Seemed perfect, not too large, not to small. Just hold a piece up and see how it looks.

Well guys stay tuned! Today is the day! Raptor liner will be applied this afternoon. If I remember in all the excitement I’ll do an overhead time lapse of it. New year new truck lol

That looks awesome. Especially the front end. Dang. I like the lightweight look of the bumper. Too many off-road bumpers just look massive and heavy.
