Huge changes to appearance!

Hey guys haven’t posted here in a long time. Been doing a major make over to the old girl. I ditched the first homemade front bumper and have started on a new one using round tubing. I sold my Bushwacker oem style flares and picked up a set of these pocket style. I have street scene roll pan in the mail as we speak and have just started to mock up a tube rear bumper. After I get it all done I will raptor linering the entire truck! Yup you heard me lol the paint it pretty well shot full of scratches and rock chips and I’ve always wanted to bed line it anyways so I figured why not now.ill post up some pictures as soon as they upload to photobucket. I never did truely love that bumper the square tubing just didn’t do the truck on this new of a truck on an old square body Chev or something like it would have been really cool. I’ll keep posting pictures as I make progress. I’m trying to sell the old bumper but hard sell due to being made to fit truck with 1.5” body lift

Looks great, very nice work. I think the front bumper would look a lot better if you added plate to the left and right triangles. Just seems like there needs to be more bumper volume there.

I get that from a few people but just going for the prerunner open sides look. Big heavy duty bumpers look good on diesel trucks but I’m not a fan of them in half tons

I fabricate my own work, and I know what you mean about suggestions! If your going for the pre runner look, then I would agree keep it How it is. Gonna look sweet when it’s all done.

Thanks man! I’m so excited to get it all done I’m gonna be linering the bumpers and flares first with a 4 bottle kit then after order a 8 bottle kit to finish off the truck

Well was a long night but it’s fitted. Gotta tweek the pass side exhaust. I got the back up sensors fitted. The spare tire is off for now aswell as the receiver hitch. I’m gonna have to build my own hitch and figure something out for the tire.

Got a start to the rear bumper need to borrow buddies bender now to do the bottom portion. So far it doesn’t interfere with the back up sensors I’m hoping the bottom portion doesn’t. If it does I’ll use the holes I drilled for them to run the wires through and mount them to the tube. And if my amazon order of a receiver hitch shows up Friday I’ll be building my new hidden hitch Friday night.

Started the template for the bottom portion of the rear bumper. There will also be two vertical supports on either side of the licence plate I’m hoping I can get away with leaving the plate where it is up here being so recessed into the bumper. I still need to add lights for it and plumb in my trailer plug. Got a start on my new hidden hitch last night but my amazon order didn’t show up. Playing around with putting these lights in the bumper. And also got my fogs hooked back up again finally. You can’t really see in the picture but they’re hiding in there! Anyways thanks for looking guys!
