Hybrid Antenna

has anyone tried to swap out their GPS/XM antenna for a hybrid antenna with am/fm/Sirius/navi?



I found this link DIY: OEM Sharkfin "Hybrid antenna" install [Archive] - Volkswagen Owners Club Forum |VW Golf / Jetta /Passat /Beetle/EOS/Rabbit/GTI /CC/Bus/Touareg/Tiguan/TDI while i was looking for a hidden am/fm antenna so i could get rid of the POS whip. Ideally I'd hide all of the antennae.

Thanks, now i just need to get the part. I'll let you know when I'm done, but it may be awhile.

that would be alot better. The Whip in front is soo old school. Newer vehicles now are either hiding it or combining it to something like that above.
