Dale, what gears are in your R/T? I bet they're 3.55's or less. Probably the biggest reason you can't burn those tires.
I've unitentionally broke the tires loose in my dads '11 with 3:55s and open diff
Its doable
To go with the gmc comment, my cousin had a silverado SS on his lot, it would not break loose for him when he took me for a ride
I think the R/T package includes 4.10's and the "loose" TC
Silverado SS is AWD
Nice 1 wheel peel!
I've done a few back in the day of my debauchery. Lol
Is that Mini Cooper I see written on there? Lol

My truck is not an R/T. Just a fairly plain reg. cab Express with 3:55's and LSD. It's not a big deal that it won't spin the tires. This is the third hemi, previously a 300C and a Challenger. I know the 300 wouldn't spin the tires either. The Challenger was fast but I don't actually remember if it was a tire spinner. It was a lot faster than the 300C and the truck is totally slow compared to either of them.
This is why im waiting for 4.10 or 4.56 gears to come out to fit the front diffs. then ill be saving for them. cmon, you have to be able to light them up. i have the 3.55 with LSD. my buddy has a sport with 3.92 LSD. he sais he can burn them through 1st and 2nd with no brakes. i cant even "chirp" them
Well, I got a Laramie with the 3.92, and the only way I can spin them is using the brake...but if it's wet, get on it and they spin up REAL fast
