I had a tacoma for 3 months and I wanted my Hemi

New member here in Connecticut. I traded in a Tacoma I purchased in October for a 2014 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Big Horn with the Hemi!. I had a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T with the 5.7 Hemi and loved it. I still can't get over how big the Ram is compared to the Tacoma. I'm really glad to get back into a dodge with a strong V8.

I just switch out my overhead console to include the Homelink. I'm going to attempt to switch out my Uconnect 5.0 with a 8.4 RA4 Radio, all the parts are on the way. I also want to put in a rear view camera. I've been reading that it's a pain in the butt to upgrade thing because you have to get the sales code.
How easy to be getting sales codes installed? Anyways to get it without involving the dealer?

The sales codes can only be flashed by a dealer. The biggest hassle is finding an understanding dealer. I've had 3 sales codes added to my truck since new and, in my case, it was very easy to get done as I have a great dealer in my area.

I regret not keeping it but it wasn't feasible at this point in time. It was fun to drive and a nice road trip car. I had about all the options besides the rear entertainment system. I still like the '06 style better than the newer ones.
