I put the 285's back on and this is the result... its about 80 out when i was messing around. Missed a shift and hung it in 3rd too long too.
The other day i had the 305's still on and cut a 14.1. Im hoping with some sticky track conditions mixed with some nice cool air i can get it down to a 13.9 and with slicks maybe a 13.6 maybe 13.7

Oh and that reaction time sucked!!!

Slicks or z-rated streets?

If streets consider doing some mild siping. The added edge contacts should give a little more grip. :favorites13:

I find that if I leave the shifting to the computer/trans I get little wheel slip, if I use first I spin like ****.

Have you tried heating your tires first?

I usually launch in 2nd gear position, trans still shifts 1-2 then I pick it up to 3-4-5. If I launch in the 1st position, my truck holds 1st at WOT even after telling it to shift to 2nd and I usually end up loosing time and the truck nosing over with the shift from 1st to 2nd.
I have played around with it alot.

I'm on crappy Nexen street tires but yes, doesn't do anything for them. When I hit the 14.1 I was on a set of warm toyo proxes, and temps were about the same, Road temp may have been a little hotter. The proxes def bit better. not sure if that's all due to the tire or the added width.

I think when I get tires next I'm going to put on a 315 in the rear with a 305 up front.
