If you actually blew the speaker it would still play, just really fuzzy -- typically most noticeable on lower notes.

If its not working at all, you've got a different issue

is it the stock HU? forgive me if you posted that i must have missed it. i had a problem with my 08 6-dics where the drivers side would just cut out. i took it to the dealer swapped speakers and it happened again and again. ended up being a prob with the stock HU. upgrade time. i hope its just a missed or bad connection and an easy fix for ya.

Like the others said if it was blown youd probably still hear something crackly or fuzzy. I'd say go over all your connections, also make sure no speaker terminals or wires are touching any bare sheet metal anywhere.

As they said, you need to check all connections. It's not uncommon for people to get the wire that they are soldering too hot and actually compromising the connection.

Another thing, although highly unlikely, is that the speaker in question has seized. This can happen by either over or under powering the speaker. Used to be a major issue years ago, but it's not that big of a deal anymore. Besides, I thought I pretty well matched all those components up just fine when I pieced your audio together.
