I want 37" tires. Question

I just called dodge I have 3.55 rear. I am currently running stock Laramie rims with 1 inch spacer on 35" coopers. Want to move up to 37" coopers on same rims. Possible a 1.5 spacer. Can I do this? I understand gas mileage will take a hit. But what else? Thank you

Spacers scare me...if not lifted you won't fit 37's ...you're at the bottom of the gear ratio with 355 for 37s. Be careful take it very easy to hopefully keep tranny gremlins away

In my opinion, if you do get 37's, try to find some lightweight all terrains since you only have 3.55s

Yes im sorry, i have a Zone 5 inch rear spring 6 inch front lift with Bils set at 2.1. i want to move from 35 to 37 and add a 1.5 zone body lift.
And will i hurt my trans or rear, i am unsure on that works exactly.

That setup will work... but it's going to be harder on the drivetrain for sure and you may not like how slug-ish the truck will feel. I ran 37's/3.73's in my Cummins for a few months... eventually swapped to 4.56's because the truck just felt terrible. Way too low of an RPM at any given speed, slow off the line, and I didn't feel like blowing up a transmission. Did it work? Yes.... but the 4.56's made a HUGE different and were definitely worth the money.

You can budget around $2500-$3000 (everything in) for a gear swap depending on exactly what you want to do and the local shops in your area. Definitely helps that you have a 2011 so you'd be able to use your front diff. 2012+ guys have to get a front diff from a 2011 to do the swap.

Let us know how it effects you, i'm thinking of doing the same so.. Also get a diablo tuner with custom hemifever tune. That will help greatly.

I dont have too much experience with gears because i havent done the swap yet, but its my #1 thing on the "want" list. Looked into it alot here on RF and my performance mechanic. Both say that 3.92s will be okay, 4.10s would be better, and 4.56s are the way to go. So my 2¢ (which is worth a hay penny) is go with 4.56.

Btw i did this all based on 35"s so 37"s make it seem like all the more reason for 4.56
