New here.....first post.
I did a decent amount of searches, but could not find my specific issue. Any insight would be appreciated.

96 5.2 v8 sport. Single cab, 6 ft bed

Engine cuts off as if someone reached over and turned the key to off. Only happens at very low speeds....ie .... When I slow for a turn around a corner. When parked and idling....engine will cut off if I do not keep the rpms at 1000.

No codes. No other issues. Thanks in advance!

I have this problem with my truck. Check the fuel pressure like he said, but the cause of my issue is my PCM.. that's something to check into. Cross your fingers that it's not a bad PCM because they aren't cheap, but it is the exact same problem I am having.

I'd check the Idle air control valve... it makes sense to me that if it is carboned up and not able to adjust then it won't let it go to a low idle... therefore killing it.. its on the back of the throttle body

I had a problem like this, I have a 5spd, but everytime I would push the clutch in it would just die on me at low speeds if I didn't keep the rpms up. after replacing everything under the sun turns out it was the abs speed sensor on the rear end.. its just something to keep in mind but I would start with the fuel areas first. The sensor is only like 30 bucks.. Hope this helps
