I believe the issue lies with the Ignition Cylinder Lock but I could be wrong. The FOB goes in fine but when I go to crank it’s very hard to turn and nothing happens. Doesn’t turn over, no noise, no dash lights out of the ordinary. Has anyone had this issue as well or any recommendations? I’m a fairly handy guy so I could figure out how to replace it myself but I would think I’ll run into issues with the chip aspect of the FOB.

Just swapped out my switch ( $73.00 rock auto MOPAR part) about 5 min work. Programmed the 2 old Fobiks ($63.00 dealer ). Mine was just the opposite it would not give me my Fobik back after I shut the engine off. It wouldn't quite go to off. I have since opened it up and soldiered a wire back that came off so I have a back up. Being a Ram I like having spare parts
