I had a shudder/wheel hop coming from my rear wheels when I would start out on a turn. Turns out that whoever serviced the rear diff before me did not use the friction modifier. The oil in there was clean so it had to be pretty recent I'm assuming. anyways, I drained the old oil and dumped 2 quarts of royal purple gear oil in there and all is well, it already has the friction modifier in it.

I had a problem with my A/C too. It would blow cold but not hard. Turns out a common problem with these trucks is the doors in the A/C ducts breaking. My recirculate door was broken at the plastic hinge and was clogging the air duct. I took the fan down that is under the glovebox and reached up and grabbed the broken door. reinstalled the fan and now my truck blows cold and hard. just does not recirculate...

I am running the 91 octane Superchips performance tune currently. I'm not really impressed. Yes, I can tell a difference... But mostly only with the transmission. When I tuned my mustang, it was like a new vehicle. I thought that w/this truck's power i would be able to smash the gas at a stop and spin for a bit.

Also, I had the check engine light come on for my EGR valve. I changed the valve and cleared the code w/my tuner. So far all is well.
