Raceline allied beadlocks arent that expensive..and they're real. Popular choice for the rock crawling guys that run stupid low psi. Seems like all the prerunners prefer method rims...
Im not an expert, but they're probably not popular because they suck.
Are you making a fake prerunner or a real one?
Well I guess its "fake" in the sense that Im from ohio and We dont have dunes up here. I pull a race car with this. I dont plan on dropping the psi to 5 and trying to roll this down a hill on a rock climb.
I am also not dumping 10 k in suspension to go jump dunes.
So yes im a poser I suppose. Lol
The truck needs bedsides, which leads me to the fiberwerx kits (no more rust) which leads me to a set of new wheels with more appropriate offset, and a mild lift.
Ultra wheel does mfg and private label wheels for many other companies. I even have a set on a drag càr. I met with them at sema today. Methods are cool too, but again im just looking to have a neat trophy / runner look since the body needs attention anyways.
I much prefer this look to the lifted "bro dozer" look with a monster poser lift, and a 25 inch rims. With bullet lug Nuts and towing mirrors...
No offense to anyone with bullet lug nuts and chrome swing arms lol
