Have a 2021 Ram 3500. Want to install fog lights. Dealer wants over $600. Screw that. What has to be removed to access the back of where the fog lights go? Plan to hook into the auxiliary panel. Did a quick peak but not a thorough look. Looks like that bottom plastic piece has to come off. Is that correct? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Forgot about my other post. Just sent a message to 1stindoor. Don’t want a bunch of lights across the front. Just where the oem lights go. Thanks for the reply.

Hmmm...did not get the message. Anyhow I went the "easy" route and bought a complete kit. Attached the fogs in my after market bumper, ran the wiring through the firewall at the steering column and attached the on/off button below the steering wheel on the plastic trim. I'll try and look up my lights on Amazon and get the link.

CJC Offroad has the best aftermarket setup. They use Baja Designs foglights. Very easy to install in the factory spots. I put them on my 2020 and wired them to the Aux switches.

Easy on mine because it was an aftermarket bumper. Bolted right in. Aiming them for ground and fog use was harder.
