These are perfect!!! Think I'm going to go with the Amber Thin-Line LED Lamp with Clear Lens

Just got to do some measuring and I want to figure out how to get the three light look. I know we were talking about going with an even number at four but I think four is a little much.

I'll look into it some more, figure what I like, order and keep y'all posted. Thanks for all the help.

I'm thinking I could make a pretty cool tailgate light bar out of those in red and white for reverse lights too.

Kinda close to the same idea I mounted 2 a-series rigid industries ambers for running lights and wired them into the blinkers as well on my commander. behind the grille so I didn't need to drill or anything just made brackets for them. These are bright and a lot of people say I should add a few more for the look but I think I like it with just the two. I might do the same on my ram.

Nice Commander. If my wife sees this I'm definitely gonna have to lift her's. WHat kind of lift you have on that?

Awesome! I've been thinking about these rigid a-series, price is high but that's expected from rigids quality. What else can you tell me about them?

yes they are pricey but like you said quality is great! I have had these on for about a year now and they are just as good and bright as when I first got them. I just made two brackets out of steel from work scraps but it only takes 2 holes for screws or bolts and a hole to clear the wire out of the back. These things are really bright from straight on and they are behind my grille. I went with the higher power option on their site as well not sure how the lower ones are.

Those are real nice, think I'll save up for them but for now I'll probably go the affordable route, as my next mod will be a Diablo Trinity with Hemifever.
Thank you a lot for the info and pics on the A-Series, I couldn't find much on them online or on Rigids site.

yeah there really doesn't seem to be much out there on them at all. Good call on the tune first, I just got my truck and I'm hooked already on buying mods but have to prioritize what to buy first.

So I've decided that I want to go with the Rigid A-Series Low Strength in Amber.
My plan is to mount three A-Series lights by drilling into the top support of the stock chrome grill. My question is, will drilling into the stock grill cause the chrome to flake or peel? If it does then will plasti-dipping the chrome grill to black work out well?

So I ended up ordering these off eBay ImageUploadedByTapatalk1394862892.303416.jpg
I have the sport without tow hooks so I'm thinking I'll install these in the plastic that the hook would be coming out of. Think I'll do the typical cab light configuration

o o o o o

I'll post pics when done!

I want to do this too. One thought I had was changing the wiring so that the mirror signal light would be clearance lights. I have the tow mirrors so it would look like thisView attachment 22798

All you would have to do, is the find the wires for the side mirrors and run them to the turn signal wires. Then they will flash with the signals..

You would probably want to tap them so the lights still come on when the door opens.

They are already signals. He wants them to be RUNNING LIGHTS. So you would have to tap into the running light wire and run it to the turn signal in the mirror. Which I don't think would work because it would be getting 2 electrical feeds and when you turned on the blinker it would still have power and wouldn't blink. It would just be a running light. Unless the running lights turn off when you turn on your blinker. I've never looked into that.

Thanks! Just a 3/4" hole drilled though, then push the rubber grommet in, then the light it's self. I pulled the drivers side headlight and tapped into the stock marker/signal light wire.

That's sorta what I said.

I was wondering about getting two feeds also. But you could just got the power for the mirror and run them off the turn signals.
