Interesting fuel system discovery

Actually....I found it months ago but forgot about it until today.
I have zero issues maintaining 62psi at idle and normal driving....full boost is different but that's another thread.
Today I swapped the stock fuel lines for all -6 hose from the tank to the fuel rail. My pressure sender is right where the line attaches to the rail.
The factory line is 3/8" (-6) BUT...right by the transmission the stock line drops down to 5/16" before going back to 3/8 at the stock rail connection.

^^^that's the interesting part^^^

The even more interesting part is that after putting in a clean -6 run I now have 64 psi at idle and driving around.

Something to think about if you're watching your fuel pressure.

Usually manufacturing convenience; like a body mounted hard nipple so they can make the connection or detach easier on the production line. :(

Is it a **** to get to? I might switch mine out in the future..
