Been having odd intermittent heat on my 2009 1500. Was only blowing cold air one day. Did the hold recirc. button reset and it worked for a few days. Now its blowing hot and cold randomly every few seconds. The sound seems to change as the heat comes and goes but no controls are being moved. Lots of heat when it blows but wont stay blowing hot..... Thoughts?

- Do you hear any faint noises coming from inside the heater box (doors moving) as you rotate the HVAC knob from cold to warm? Inside/outside, etc
- Have you checked your coolant level to make sure it's where it should be?
- Is the tk temp normal?
- Do you hear any 'girgling' sounds in your heater core in the am, esp when you go to leave home first thing in the morning.
- Have you checked the fuses

It sounds like the door actuator moves when adjusting controls, Coolant and operating temp are good, no gurgling noises. Never thought of a fuse as it seems everything works although not like it should.
