Hey,
Quick intro; I have a 2017 Ram Rebel it is my first truck. I drove a 1500 about 2 years ago and fell in love with how it handled, the security, the height, and I fully understand now that men that drive trucks are not compensating for anything.

On a more serious note, I am trying to do a "simple DIY" with changing my clear cab light covers to a smoked colored one. I ended up buying some smoked LEDs thinking that the bulb could simply come out and I throw the cover over my current amber lights. The LEDs I bought looks like I need to remove the whole headliner (which i'm not trying to do) just to get the smoked cover I need. I could remove the LED from the smoked covering but could not get the current bulbs into it.

This is what I currently have installed on my truck and it's clear: Mopar 68261677a Clear
Is there a replacement for this part that is smoked?

Thanks again,
BDB99

PS I hope everyone here gets a TRX to ascend to god hood

Don't know how much this will help, but this the lights on my '18. The bulb holder twists into the light assemble then the 2 screws squeezes' the gasket down. Just be careful not to over do it when tightening.

This is the clear 194 bulbs (IIRC). They look yellow/amber but it was the color balance off on the phone. A can of VHT night shades would be also be an alternative and tint the stock clear lenses. I was going to do that, but just too lazy anymore.

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking about just going down this route yesterday. But for the sake of making it look clean as possible I assumed that just getting the covers would be better choice.

If you do VHT, go LIGHT coats at a time. The first time I used it, the result was like welding goggles haha. A lil bit of sanding and it was fixed.

It darkens as it dries. It will leave a satin finish unless you do clear coat.
