Is it just me or are the 75A wheels ugly?

Wondering what they were thinking and is it possible if these wheels will look better in person?? Or could a guy at least get rid of that silver part? That's what seems to ruin it for me... ironically you can add rock sliders and those wheels to a regular power wagon for the sum of 1995....any thoughts on those rims. Powder coat the optional trim ring install and drive??? Or what..

I agree on the silver though bead locks would be nice. Haven’t decided if I’ll keep the A75 wheels or not. Probably will so that it’s a complete 75th when I sell it some day.

35x12.5s for sure. I love the idea of 37s, but I want the spare underneath and not in the bed or on a hitch mount.

My preference would be Falken A/T3W but there are none in the country right now. I live at 4,200 feet and cross the pass 20+ times a year so snow traction is a high priority. I’m not a huge KO2 fan, but no other 3PMSF tires appeal to me. Open for suggestions though...

How much are those wheels? I already bought tires...I runner general grabber x3 s raised red letter...last set went 35000 miles on my 19 power wagon and still had 12/32nd tread left! Are those the wheels.37s will clear on? I don't think I can afford wheels...although I already have my takeoff tires sold...and then I'd have those dam wheels laying around...I wondered down the road..(35000 or so) when a guy buys tires if he could just have the tires powder coated? I suppose it's illegal.or there would be a balencing issue to buy the headlock rings and powder coat them , put them on..blah blah..sounds like alot and i don't know if it's possible...the guy who put the silver on I'm sure worked for ford one time.in his.life..

I'm not sure what I wanna do..this is the coolest truck I will have ever bought..I might let it stand, loud and proud sporting wheels probably designed by and ex ford reject....

$265 ea. They're not cheap. I like the engineering behind the AEV brand. I wanted something that blended well with the A75 package and didn't stand out like an aftermarket scar. They're rated at 4,100 lbs at 40" so they're plenty tough for the application.

Are those the wheels.37s will clear on?

In theory, yes. The +27mm offset (on the 17 x 8.5) is setup to maximize clearance from both the swaybar and fender liner.

Ended up going with the AT3/W after all... while the 35 x 12.5's are out of stock, the 315/70R17 are in stock. Very similar size, if anything a fraction taller.

I've been up to Mt. Bachelor 4x this week on snow/ice on the Falkens in our LX 470 and it's a mountain goat. Take them down to 25 psi and they're unstoppable. Love those tires. Glad I was able to find a solution for the PW.

I bet that silver isn't a ring and don't come off! From what I've read it is illegal to drive a headlock wheel on the street..I was thinking the ring they sell will go over existing...hence it would be tough to be street legal or balence the wheel...otherwise I would have the ring either done in black or orange powder coat

They're 'beadlock capable' wheels. Most likely there will be something like this for 'off road use only'. Even if you're not running in a beadlock config, you could, in theory, bolt on a black ring to serve as a 'rash guard'.

It would actually be pretty cool if someone came up with poly design that wouldn't chip out and remain black as well as sit proud enough to protect the bolt heads.

While this.is basically what I was thinking, in theory it would be illegal to drive in the street and I wonder about balencing does anyone have a part number.or.photo of the available bead lock rings? I'd love to just keep the stock wheels.....

So “bead lock capable” means you have to add a part to the wheels to actually make them bead locks? I wasn’t sure I liked the look and if given the choice I would have mine be black but it doesn’t bother me enough to try to change or power coat

Correct. Should be similar to the ‘bead lock capable’ that was done on the Jeep where the bead can be set either on the inside (DOT) or outside using the mating ring.
