Is my block ruined

I found this little hole at the front of my block and it kinda worries me, is this motor junk now

Look at it carefully - It looks like a drilled/machined hole, meaning it's supposed to be there if it is.
If that's the case it's nothing to worry about.

Also, a pic of it from a wider angle (Further away from the spot) will help others here determine if it really is supposed to be there or not.

Look at it carefully - It looks like a drilled/machined hole, meaning it's supposed to be there if it is.
If that's the case it's nothing to worry about.

Also, a pic of it from a wider angle (Further away from the spot) will help others here determine if it really is supposed to be there or not.
That's what I was thinking but it looks like there's some small grinder marks around it, doesn't look like it goes anywhere, I put a pic inside it and it just stops

Looks like it's supposed to be there for helping with oil return to the pan.... But you did say it's a dead-end hole right?
Doesn't look like a problem though, if you're going to have any machine work done to the block you can ask the shop about it and they can probrably fix it if it is a problem.

Looks like a machined holes for draining the valley, they look like a dead end, use some flexible wire they go to a 90 degree into the crankcase, great condition assemble it and run it.
