is my truck missing a part?

So i was washing my truck and i noticed this empty hole. Is something missing there? Its a 15 sport qc.pic is taken in landscape.

A little more perspective on where on the truck would be helpful. Maybe step back so we can see if it's the door, tailgate, hood, etc.

definitely the hole for the spare tire.

I know some spare are mini ,but I don't think you could fit a tire thru that hole.

That's the hole that road side assistance puts the crank handle through to lower your spare tire down from under the truck when you don't know what that hole is for and you get a flat. Now that you know, you may want to read the owners manual and get familiar with the location of the jack, crank handle and spare.
