Is stroker a good option in a 5.7 hemi?

I am offered parts of a hemi 6.1 engine and someone suggests me to make my 5.7 engine stroker, but I do not know if it is advisable, expensive or complicated.

I would appreciate your help.

thank you

I did a 392 stroker in mine, I built the engine myself. It’s definitely expensive. There are quite a few guys running 392 and 426 stokers on Hemi Truck Club, most of them are boosted as well

I have read that hemi 6.1 engines support without problem 12 psi, and I think that by making my stroker motor with parts of a 6.1 I could increase my boost a lot, that's what I think but I do not know the subject

I would just purchase a forged rotating assembly in either 6.1 or 6.4 size for your 5.7 block. That way you have brand new parts that are up to the task of running boost. I used a Manley kit for mine. Disregard the one stock piston for comparison 84bec264bfa101410fa699abd1d9de69.jpg
