I've got a couple questions.

well first off, i've got a 98 Ram 1500 4x4. For a wihile I was just considering lifting her up about 6 inches but ive decided I would rather invest in a level, new Blistein shocks, a warn winch/front reciever hitch, and.... a new Bow!

Well anyways my question is if I go with a 2'' level, would I get shocks that are made for a stock height vehicle, or for a vhehicle with a 2" lift? I am looking at these partnered with their 2'' level. 4 Bilstein Shocks 94-01 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with 0-1" of lift @Top Gun Customz

I am trying to level her with optimal preformance because I hit the backwoods alot when hunting and cant afford to get stranded because of faulty equiptment. if you know of a better way to level a truck I am all ears.

Thanks!!
Adrian

Nice! Are you running the ones for a 2-3" lift because of your 2.5" level or because you have a lift? How does she ride after the level/shock upgrade?

I have the off road package so my truck is about 2 inches higher than stock. I then adding the leveling kit. Its a great ride now, still bumpy because of solid axle but better

You don't need to get lifted shocks but it is recommended just for a better ride

Cool! Love your truck man! So because I don't have the off road package, the shocks I need are the ones for a 0-1 inch lift? Any other preferable options for leveling our second gens?

Hell Bent Steele, a vendor here, makes a good leveling kit

Also the 2-3" will be good for you too since you lifting it the 2-3". the 0-1" are for the stock height. You might check with Duane of 3rd Strike Performance to see what kind of deal he can get you on the shocks

I would go with the 2"-3"
I have +2" procomps with a 2" HBS level and the ride is much better then when I had stock length shocks

Cool I sent him a pm and he just pointed me to their web site with the ram forum 5% discount coupon code. Might as well support a forum vendor.
