Just yesterday I was stopped at a light when my engine just quits for no reason, I I popped it into park, pulled the key out, and then put the key back in and it started right up. Obviously there was some slight panicking on my part, but I was just glad it started up again. I have no idea why it did this. Also, though I'm not sure whether this is relevant or not but, occasionally when I'm starting it up I will have to hold the key longer than normally to get it to start. I could really use some insight to what might be causing this.

Likely needs new glow plugs, or perhaps you are running incorrect blinker fluid.

Sounds like a short or a loose connector somewhere to me.

Fuel cap could be faulty causing a vapor lock that would do the same thing to

Everything mentioned above with a nice tune up. Filters, plugs, wires, etc...

No check engine lights, but it has been a while since I refilled my blinker fluid, I think this time I'll go synthetic. But seriously, I will check all the wires, connections and the battery. Thanks a lot for the recommendations.

i would suggest getting new battery terminal connectors if you still have the stock ones on there. When i had this issue they looked good. looked like they would get a good connection. then i finally changed them out and havnt had the issue since.
