Jeep 8.4 an compatible with 14 ram?

I can get an 8.4 an (vp4 na) radio locally for a decent price but I believe it is out of a grand Cherokee. Will it work in my truck and just say jeep when i first start the truck or something? Let me know guys I have to act quick if I'm gonna get it before some one else does.
