The truck starts fine and runs fine up to 25 mph, but above that, accelerating makes it cut out/sputter. Going uphill produces the same effect. At highway speeds it will jerk slightly and randomly. Turning overdrive off can make it worse. Flooring it up into the higher rpms produces some popping noises like a rev limiter. Took a mechanic for a ride in it and he thought it seemed like it wasn't getting fuel like it's supposed to. So $400 and a new fuel pump later it's still doing it. No codes. I may record sound of me flooring it and post it in the morning.

When mine did that it turned out to be a destroyed cap, rotor and plug wires.
New C/R and wires and it was 10 times better.

I was going to say something in the ignition system. Does it get worse under load?
