I am wondering if anyone could possibly help me figure out how to get my 2007 1500 hemi running again. Long story not so short is I had been working on it for quite sometime, put a bunch of new parts on er and when I finally got everything done I went to start it and the battery was too low to get it fully turned over. I had asked my girlfriend to grab the jumper pack out of the car so we could get it started. Whelp the truck ended up getting jumped wrong. It fried the jumper pack and now the truck won't turn over at all even after buying a new battery. Has this ever happened to anyone or know what might have been damaged and how to fix it. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated Thanks. I already feel like a huge dummy that this happened so please refrain from any non helpful comments. It was just one of those days where I was run down and getting late trying to finish everything up. Thanks for any and all helpful comments. Have a great day Rammers!

Some of those Jumper packs have protection when they are placed on the battery backwards.Because your jumper pack was destroyed seems that it might have been faulty before you used it.I did that once with a Honda and there was a metal fuse (3.bucks)that blew under the hood between the battery and ignition.Back in the 70's Plymouth/Dodge,had an infamous Ballast Resistor for the same purpose.People back then carried extra ballast resistors because they needed replacing occassionally. They cost about $3.99 at the time, and when you blew one caused the condition you have, likely.I drove for CAA,back then and when there was a NO Start call on a Dodge that was the culprit.Someone more familiar with more modern knowledge ,will point you in the right direction but I don't think it will be hard for you to fix on your own.

You need to answer the questions asked, if not, we can't help. Do any of the accessories work, do lights come on etc. Is it just the starter that isn't working or is everything dead.

Best case is you fried a fuse or relay. You need to check them all starting on the start circuit. Does any power come on or is everything dead?
If all fuses and relays are good then you need to check the ecm.
All the power comes on. It's similar to having a caput starter, turn the key,no noise at all but everything else is working or atleast light up.

There is a fuse on the starter circuit. Check that first. Then use a meter to see that you have power at the starter itself. It is very unlikely you damaged the starter or solenoid from the jump issue, but it is possible. Go from there.

You have to take the razz with the help , that the internet way, ie do stupid stuff.:emotions122:
I can'r remember on my 2005, but my 2014 has heavy fuse link right on the battery cable, start there with a volt meter and if you don't have a volt meter, make or buy a test light so you can see if you have power going to the starter, and relay , and where it stops.

These days you could likely buy a small meter as cheap as a good test light, but for stuff like this a good test light is handy, but if you have a 12v bulb and wire , that's it. a clip helps as well.

Check your start relay in your PDC. The starter relay has an internal resistor and diode which can blow if you introduce to reverse polarity. If the starter relay is faulty it will cause the exact issue. If it is a starter relay issue it's in the TIPM which are solid state and can't be changed. You have to replace the TIPM.

Hit up you tube - this guy had an issue same as you and it was a fuse, #31 that he claims it's labeled PCM\transfer case

The 2008 service manual should be adequate as a reference. Download the PDF to a PC and use 'Control F' to word search.

My 2022 Tradesman 2500 did the same thing. All power but no sound when hitting the start button. The wire on the starter was lose.
