Just removed the lift from my RCSB 1500 after >10 years, some lift info you might find interesting.

I know this is the lift part of the forum and I just did the opposite but the truck is still 1.25" taller from tire size..

The interesting thing I discovered going back to stock (including RCSB-specific springs, OE shocks, etc) was that the Bilstein/Eibach/etc lift felt really refined compared to stock. In other words when we first spend a bunch of money on suspension we can fool ourselves into thinking it's better, but is it really better? Now that I switched back.. yeah it was better.

Anyway this video explains everything.

Good vid!

I agree. My truck drives better than it did stock. Even with the substantially larger tires.

Most of the time they mean if you stop the guy behind you might not.. even if he's driving one of those ford explorers with all the red and blue lights on it.

Glad the video makes sense, I've seen some pretty long arguments on here about the strut preload thing.

100%, after I lifted mine the first thing I noticed was just how much better the truck rode, despite the lift. Bumps were dampened better, and body roll was non-existent.
