Thx for updating this....good to know what to expect.
Hey guys, lazy post here (I don't want to go through all 9 pages). I drive about an hour to work every day or so on some back country roads. When my Factory SR-A's are spent, I want to get something abit bigger, and abit wider (want to run spacers and wider tires on factory rims to look good in pocket flares with my 2.5" lift).
What would you guys say as far as these tires go for my situation? I'd love something abit A/T / M/T appearing, but obviously cannot go full M/T or i'd be going through tires monthly. regular street tires won't give me the look i'm hoping for.
I need a M/T appearence tire with the Street tire hardness lol
Well that binds me up. I don't have a rockstar budget either. UghI bet I get 30-40k out of these max. If you want the look with a higher mileage tire get the Goodyear duratrac. Looks identical to these tires.....that being said they will also cost you almost twice what these do.

Twice the price for an extra maybe 10,000 miles, I'll stick to my kanatis
Any more updates with a little higher mileage? Like many others in this thread I was strongly leaning towards the BFG KO2's, and based on past experience and knowing others still running them, it's reasonable to expect 60K miles. $836 for a 40k tire or $1300 for 60k is a minimal difference in my opinion.
from another forum:
They ride smooth, there is a little bit of a hum and they've wrecked my mpg. I hand calculate all fill ups and I've got almost 1K miles on these and they're wearing fine but with the trips I've taken I know I should get about 15.5mpg and almost 18mpg, with the new tires the fill ups were 13.8 and 15 respectively. Really surprised at the significant drop in mileage with these. The website shows a weight of 57lbs a tire, up from 39 for the OEM Goodyears and a tad over 1" taller; my speedo shows to be correct when testing with a few different apps to to track vehicle speed also.
if you do the math:
57-39=18
18x4 = 72
1 lb of rotating mass = 10 lbs of "static mass". So essentially you're driving around on stock tires with 720 lbs in the back. Add to that the more aggressive thread, and there goes your mpg difference...
