Buddy has a 1500 with the push button start. He's been having intermittent issues with the key fobs not working. He's replaced the batteries a few times, I programmed a new fob as well. Still has issues with them not working at times. I'm leaning towards the RF hub, but I'm wondering if there could be sensors in the door or elsewhere that aren't reading the fobs. Any thoughts on what else to look into?

How about the age and condition of the starting battery?

You know the drill. Load tested with a toaster-style battery load tester to rule out a flakey cell.

I've seen several instances where a slightly lower B+ voltage has impaired the operation of the RF hub.

Also, what is the age/mileage of the truck?

.

It's a 2013. Not sure of the mileage.
Are the fobs OEM? If not, that's likely the problem.
2 fobs are OEM, the new fob is aftermarket.
