Lamp out message after replacing headlamps

I replaced aftemarket headlamps for 2004 Ram 1500, easy swap, bulbs came pre installed. Upon turning on the lights and then using turn signal I get a "lamp out" message on display and a bell signal with every flash. no upgrade to LED done. What is next step?

Are all the lights working, despite the warnings?

If the headlights aren't LED, are the turn signal lights LED? That would explain it. If the turn signals are LED then you'll need to install an inline resistor to each. I needed to do this when I installed LED signal bulbs.

I just check the reviews on Amazon. Seems you might need to reuse the original turn signal sockets.
