Surely someone has done this. I just hate replacing rims (and tires for that matter) with 1500 miles on them. But I think the tires on these rims would make a big difference.

I just mounted a set of 35x12.5 on my black edition rims. They fit perfectly fine once they are mounted but i had a hell of a time getting them on. The tire machine i have at work has a second air powered arm along with the main arm and i still had to work a pry bar in there to get them to slip over. So all I would say if youre not doing it yourself is take them to a place that does low profile tires alot and has a good tire machine, because its pretty tight getting a 12.5 on those rims...but it looks so good.

I THINK the factory black edition wheels are just the cheap-o express wheels, so they're only 8" wide.
Can you fit a 12.50? yes. Is it recommended, Nope!

I'd stick with a 275/65R20 (34" tire) with a 8" wide wheel.

A 12.50 isn't too wide for a 8 inch wheel unless you were going to a really low profile tire, like a 30. Even my dealership, who are pains in a @$$ about going from original equipment, mount 33/12.50/20 on the new rams. They actually have one in the showroom now with mud grapplers that looks sweet.
